SeanRomzzy
Promise Ndukwu Anthony (born 11 April 1990), known professionally as SeanRomzzy, is a Nigerian singer, rapper, songwriter, and music producer. He is recognized for his versatility across genres including Afrobeats, Hip hop, R&B, and Soul, often blending emotional, motivational, and energetic lyrics in his music.
Early life and education
SeanRomzzy was born on 11 April 1990 in Aba, Abia State, Nigeria, into the family of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Ndukwu. He hails from Azara Obi Ato Autonomous Community, Mbaitoli Local Government Area, Imo State. He grew up in a lively household with three siblings, his mother Juliana Ndukwu, and his father, whom he has described as “strict but the best dad so far.”
He began experimenting with music at the age of seven, forming a childhood band group called Pronto’s, alongside his two sisters and friends. The group used improvised instruments such as tin and rubber drums, and a battery-powered cassette recorder to capture their songs, many of which were gospel-themed.
SeanRomzzy studied Mechanical Engineering at the Imo State University, Owerri, while continuing to pursue music on the side.
Career
Early career (2010–2014)
SeanRomzzy made his professional debut in 2010 with the release of “My KoKo Girl”. The following year, he released “Don’t Make Me Cry” and “The New Me”, the latter produced by Mr. Calijeo at PlayBoys Studio. These early singles established him as a rising voice in underground Hip hop and R&B in southeastern Nigeria.
Independent growth and digital era (2015–present)
From 2015 onward, SeanRomzzy began expanding his sound, embracing Afrobeats and fusion genres while maintaining his Hip hop and R&B roots. His music became more accessible through digital platforms, where he consistently released singles that showcased his emotional storytelling, motivational lyrics, and genre-blending creativity.
He often opens his tracks with the phrase “Is’d Man”, which has become a recognizable tag for his listeners.
In addition to releasing singles, SeanRomzzy has been active in independent music distribution, promotion, and collaborations, often working with online platforms to reach a wider audience. His involvement with MySongsLover.com, a platform dedicated to promoting and distributing music, has further strengthened his presence in Nigeria’s fast-growing digital music landscape.
SeanRomzzy continues to record and release music independently, focusing on versatility and audience connection rather than mainstream trends. His catalog includes motivational rap, soulful Afrobeats, and experimental blends of R&B and Hip hop.
